What is it...?
Sorry total noob here - Just trying to figure out what GitCheetah (and a dozen other little things) is/are. I go to the repo at repo.or.cz/w/git-cheetah.git - which says the homepage is at code.google.com/p/msysgit/wiki/GitCheetah - which says the page has moved to "the GitWiki" at ... drumroll.. git.wiki.kernel.org :)
The only thing that looked like a description was on the repo page, where "description" (go figure?) says "A platform-independent filemanager plugin" .. so.. Maybe it's that most people would probably already be familiar with TortoiseCVS's similar functionality. Of course that's not a *bad* description - just very short, and also sort of "missing" on this page. Is a quick description like that (maybe ideally with a bit more info(?)) reasonable for this page..? And if so, can someone that knows it well write one? Even the exact one from the repo would be better than nothing, IMHO - but ... what do I know.. right..? Thanks! :) UnRheal 23:32, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
Long unwrapped line - unintended code segment?
Also just noticed that there's a horizontal scrollbar on the page unless I make my browser window rather wide. I'm not that familiar with Wiki's and all that - but in the part about Git-Cheeta on other Platforms (Nautilus, Finder) the line in the code box that starts "* On http..." doesn't wrap, presumably because the wiki thinks it's code, because it's indented with a couple spaces before the "*" .. so - can we just take those out, making it a bullet, instead? Or did someone actually want it that way and people with big fonts or monitors less than about 1680 wide will just have to scroll..? I know, this is all real critical stuff.. but I had to ask. This is simply some breakage that happened when converting the article to MediaWiki. It's fixed now. --Kusma 12:01, 6 January 2011 (UTC)
